Privacy Policy
Effective September 23, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how The Aurelion Group LLC ("Aurelion," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use Aurelion Sentinel, including Sentinel Vision and related web, iPhone, iPad, and connected-device features.
2. Information we collect
Depending on the features you choose to use, Sentinel may process the following categories of information:
- Account and optional professional profile information: email address, name, role, authentication information, account preferences, subscription/entitlement status, and information you choose to add to a professional profile such as a profile photo, professional bio, job title, business contact information, certifications or licenses, credential numbers, issue/expiration dates, and supporting credential documents.
- Assessment and business information: assessments, inspection responses, notes, findings, tasks, client/facility information, uploaded documents, signatures, reports, and other content you choose to create or store.
- Media and files: photos, images, drawings, videos, documents, and other files that you choose to upload, capture, attach, analyze, or store.
- Location information: device location only when you affirmatively use a feature that requires location, such as GPS-assisted evidence or facility/location tools, and after the applicable device permission is granted.
- Device and diagnostic information: app/platform information, connectivity state, error information, and security or diagnostic data needed to operate, troubleshoot, and protect the service.
- Support communications: information you provide when you contact Aurelion for support.
3. Sentinel Vision and connected wearable data
Sentinel Vision is an optional Aurelion Sentinel capability designed to work with supported wearable devices. Sentinel Vision does not begin a capture merely because a wearable is connected. A user must intentionally start the applicable Vision session or capture function, and required device permissions must be granted.
When you use Sentinel Vision, the app may process:
- wearable registration, compatibility, permission, and connection status;
- still images or current camera frames that you intentionally capture or analyze;
- video or audio only when a build supports those functions, you intentionally use them, and required consent/permissions have been provided;
- voice commands, transcribed commands, notes, question references, and session activity needed to carry out your requested action;
- AI-generated observations, hazard suggestions, regulatory-source suggestions, and user confirmations or dismissals; and
- media or findings you direct Sentinel Vision to attach to an assessment, report, task, or other record.
A visible and/or audible indication is provided when Sentinel Vision is actively recording or making a capture as required by the applicable platform and feature. Sentinel Vision is not intended for covert recording. You are responsible for using camera, microphone, and wearable features lawfully and for obtaining any consent required from other people who may be recorded.
4. How we use information
We use information to:
- provide authentication, assessments, reports, Sentinel Vision, AI-assisted tools, and other requested features;
- store and synchronize records you choose to save;
- analyze user-selected content and return requested safety, compliance, or workflow assistance;
- process subscriptions and restore eligible purchases;
- maintain security, prevent misuse, diagnose failures, and improve reliability; and
- respond to support requests and legal obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use camera, microphone, wearable, or assessment content for third-party advertising.
5. AI processing and third-party AI
Some Sentinel features use artificial intelligence. When you choose an AI-assisted feature, the content necessary to perform that request may be transmitted through Aurelion's application platform and its contracted AI service providers. Depending on the feature, that content may include text, documents, images, selected video frames, notes, assessment context, or other information you submit for analysis.
Before personal data is transmitted to a third-party AI service in a context that requires additional permission, Sentinel will disclose the intended transfer and obtain the required consent. Information collected for one purpose is not repurposed for a materially different purpose without additional consent where required.
AI output is assistive and may be incomplete or incorrect. Users should verify important safety, regulatory, engineering, medical, legal, or other high-impact decisions using appropriate qualified sources and professionals.
6. Service providers and data sharing
We share information only as needed to provide the service, comply with law, protect users, or complete an action you request. Service providers may include:
- Base44 and its infrastructure/integration providers for application hosting, authentication, database, file storage, email, and AI-enabled service functions;
- Meta Platforms and supported wearable services when you register, connect, permission, or use a supported Meta wearable with Sentinel Vision;
- Apple for iOS/iPadOS platform services, App Store purchases, StoreKit transactions, and purchase restoration;
- Google for Android platform services and Google Play Billing transactions, subscription status, purchase restoration, and related store services when those features are enabled in the installed Android build;
- payment processors used on the web or other permitted channels where a lawful non-store purchase is offered; and
- professional advisers, authorities, or other recipients when required by law or necessary to protect rights, security, or safety.
We require service providers that process user data on our behalf to protect it consistently with their contractual obligations and applicable law. We do not authorize service providers to use Sentinel user content for unrelated advertising.
7. Payments and subscriptions
On iPhone and iPad, eligible digital purchases and subscription upgrades are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system when StoreKit purchasing is enabled in the installed build. On Android, eligible digital purchases are processed through Google Play Billing when the verified Play Billing connection is enabled in the installed build. Web purchases, when offered, use the configured web payment provider.
Aurelion may receive transaction identifiers, purchase tokens, product/plan identifiers, subscription status, expiration information, and other entitlement data needed to verify, grant, restore, expire, refund, or revoke access. Aurelion does not receive your full Apple App Store or Google Play payment-card number.
Storefront purchase terms, renewal rules, cancellation options, and the price displayed by the applicable store or checkout provider at the time of purchase control. Deleting a Sentinel account does not automatically cancel a recurring store subscription; recurring billing should also be cancelled through the applicable store or provider.
8. Permissions and your choices
Camera, microphone, photos/files, Bluetooth/wearable, location, notifications, and similar device capabilities are requested only when needed for a feature. You can decline a permission; the related feature may not work, but unrelated parts of Sentinel should remain available where technically possible.
You can change system permissions in your device settings. Where Sentinel offers an in-app control to stop a Vision session, disconnect a wearable feature, disable a capability, or delete saved content, you may use that control at any time.
9. Data retention and deletion
We retain account and user-created content for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business records, meet legal/security obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Different record types may have different retention periods depending on their purpose and applicable requirements.
You may delete your Aurelion Sentinel account using the in-app Delete Account control. You may also initiate an account and associated-data deletion request online at /account-deletion without installing or signing in to the app. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible personal data by contacting us. Some information may be retained when required by law, for fraud/security prevention, transaction records, or other legitimate obligations.
10. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or disclosure. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Government and regulatory information
Aurelion Sentinel is a private product of The Aurelion Group LLC. It is not a government entity and is not endorsed by or affiliated with the U.S. Government. Government laws, regulations, standards, and other public sources may be referenced for informational and compliance-assistance purposes. Users should verify current official sources.
12. Children's privacy
Aurelion Sentinel is intended for professional and organizational safety/compliance use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design Sentinel Vision or other Sentinel features to solicit personal information from children.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Sentinel changes. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, when appropriate, an in-app notice or renewed consent before materially different data use begins.
